There are two surgical options broken pelvis 4 my 1yr boerbul/roti puppy which is best?

I need to know - being a big dog it will be difficult to curb her movements. plates are an option amount to approx R10 000 and the other form by means for scar tissue. Plse can someone explain these options - I have had a bad experiece with one of our vets - conducted all the tests but the most logical of all was only stumbled onto later i.e. hairball in the stomach, This cost me an arm and a leg .....I love my animals and money is an issue in my life.
