I think my cat ate my nose ring spike?

i woke up to her nipping at it and shooed her away falling back to sleep when i woke up the small screw on spike was gone im not sure if it fell off in the bed of if the cat ate it im worried about if she did is there any symptoms to look for besides in her feces? i have given her some hairball meds just incase but would really like some advice. thanks in advance
