Extended Project Ideas: French, Spanish and English Combined?

Something on Joan of arc (or jeanne d'arc) sounds like it might tick a lot of boxes. Being French, medieval (i think), battles, and not exactly mythology but religion- she did believe a voice from God spoke to her. Also the French are incredibly proud of her, nearly every French city has a street named after her.
