How to stop my cat from vomiting?

My cat throws up constantly, least once a day. She eats very little (give her dry purina indoor cat formula food only). Tried giving her hairball formula food and she hates it. She's chubby too, which doesn't make sense because she doesn't eat as much as my other cats. She is the sweetest cat, just this throwing up thing really stinks.
