How to get our cat to like the new dog?

I've had my cat (Joey) for 8 years, and he has had no problem with our dogs before. About 5 years ago we had a spaniel, who was very rambunctious, but he tolerated her very well. Then three years ago we had a Australian shepherd, who was much more calm, and he even sat with him! But now, about 3wks ago, we got a 6month old Blue Heeler, and he HATES her. We've tried everything.):
